Street Head Farm
Award winning self catering accommodation sleeping 10
Street Head Farm is a traditional 18th Century Yorkshire Dales Farmhouse, standing in open farmland
with spectacular views. It is situated on our working dairy and
sheep farm, several fields away from the farmstead, and
approached by a separate road. The traditional market town of Skipton, famous for its medieval Castle,
and known as the "Gateway to the Dales", lies approximately five miles
away.
Visitors are welcome on the farm (lambing starts at the end of march and the cows are milked twice a day). Footpaths
and bridleways run across the farm, the Pennine Way passes very nearby, and there are many local pubs, restaurants and shops, the nearest being just a mile
away.
There is ample parking space, a barbecue, and garden furniture. The courtyard to the rear of the house provides a safe play area for the smallest of children, and the house is surrounded by
its own small crofts and fields, which are ideal for games of football, cricket etc. Views are breathtaking! Privacy, relaxation and tranquility are
assured.
We are proud to be the Yorkshire Tourist Board's
"Self-Catering Holiday of the Year" award winners
